Before / After School Program

Marietta City Schools has Before School and After School care at some of our elementary schools, providing a secure place for children to stay for extended hours.


The mission of the Before School and After School Programs is to provide a safe, fun environment for children who can participate independently in leisure and recreational activities. These programs are intended for a limited number of children who meet the following qualifications:

• the ability to follow directions in a large group setting
• respond appropriately to adult supervision in a large group setting
• perform basic self help behaviors such as toileting and feeding independently

Note: groups will approximate an adult/child ratio of 1:24.

Bulletin Board

Registration for the before/after school programs begins on July 15th.  We offer easy registration online using your Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit cards. This also creates an account for online payments during the school year. Registration fees are $10.00 per program and before school is $5.00 per day and after school is $7.00 per day.
